A 20-minute home workout plan that actually sticks
Long plans fail because life gets in the way. A short, repeatable routine three times a week beats an ambitious one you abandon in week two.

Most home workout plans don't fail because they're too easy. They fail because they need 60 minutes, a free living room and perfect motivation. Shrink the plan until it fits a normal day.
The structure
- Warm-up, 4 minutes: marching on the spot, arm circles, gentle squats.
- Main block, 12 minutes: three rounds of squats, push-ups (on your knees is fine), glute bridges and a plank. Work 40 seconds, rest 20.
- Cool-down, 4 minutes: slow stretches for hips, hamstrings and shoulders.
Making it a habit
- Pick three fixed days and the same time of day.
- Lay the mat out the night before.
- Follow a guided video so you don't have to plan in the moment.
- Progress slowly: add a round only when the current plan feels easy.
If you have a health condition, are pregnant or are returning after an injury, check with a doctor or physiotherapist before starting a new routine.
